I was born in 1965 in a market town of St. Neots in Cambridgeshire. I still live in St. Neots with my husband and 3 children. I have always been keen on painting but it was only when I started experimenting with Pastels 8 years ago I decided to concentrate on this medium.
I have been to many places to photograph wildlife which has enabled me over time to capture that 'perfect shot', to then translate this on to paper.
My work has been displayed at many art shows including Banham Zoo (NWAG), National Exhibition of Wildlife Artists (NEWA)and Marwell Zoo (MIWAS). I am now becoming recognised nationally for my pastel Coloured and Charcoal artwork of wildlife animals, which includes becoming the Winner of the Best in Show and the Winner of the category for 'Non British Wildlife' at Marwell in 2011 - see Home page.
Currently all the artwork shown are Originals as I have decided not to have prints reproduced as I believe the purchaser should have the 'one and only' image of the painting.
I hope you will spend some time looking through my Gallery of Wildlife Art and if you should have any questions or would like to discuss a commission, whether its wildlife, a family pet or a personal portrait I would gladly discuss your requirements.
